Logo Design in Dubai

We design logos that are simple to recognise, work at every size and suit the business behind them. Each project includes the versions and file formats you need for your website, social media, signage and print.

What this covers

  • Concepts developed from a clear brief
  • Primary, secondary and icon versions
  • Colour, mono and reversed files
  • English and Arabic logos where needed

Logo design in Dubai, from brief to final files

A logo has a demanding job. It needs to be recognisable on a shop sign and a phone screen, hold up in one colour on a rubber stamp, and still feel right when your business has grown. Good logo design is less about decoration and more about careful choices that survive all of those situations.

Our logo design work for Dubai and UAE businesses starts with understanding what you do, who you serve and who you compete with. We then develop a small number of considered directions rather than a long list of quick ideas, refine the chosen one, and prepare every version you will need in daily use.

This page covers the mark itself and its versions. If you also need typography, colour palettes, guidelines and stationery built around the logo, our brand identity design service covers the full system. Either way, the logo is designed with your website and social profiles in mind from the start.

How we develop logo concepts

Strong concepts come from a clear brief, not from guesswork. We spend time on the thinking before the drawing, so each direction we present has a reason behind it and can be judged against what your business actually needs.

  1. Brief and discovery

We ask about your services, customers, values, competitors and where the logo will appear most. If you have a name but no clear direction yet, the brief helps us shape one with you.

  2. Research and sketching

We look at how other businesses in your sector present themselves in the UAE, then sketch widely to find ideas that are distinctive, appropriate and simple enough to reproduce well.

  3. Concept presentation

Each direction is shown in context, on a website header, a social profile and a business card, so you can judge how it will feel in real use rather than on a blank page.

  4. Refinement and testing

Once a direction is chosen, we refine the spacing, weight and details, then test the logo at small sizes, in one colour and on dark backgrounds to make sure it holds together.

  5. Feedback and revision rounds

You give feedback at set points in the project. The number of revision rounds is agreed in the proposal, so you know what is included before work starts and changes stay focused.

Logo versions and file formats you receive

A single logo file is rarely enough. Your logo has to fit wide headers, square profile images and tiny browser tabs, on light and dark backgrounds. We prepare a set of versions and formats for everyday use, with the full list confirmed in your proposal.

  • Primary logo

The main version of your logo, designed for the places it will be seen most, such as your website header, signage and documents, and used whenever there is enough space.

  • Secondary and stacked versions

Alternative arrangements, such as a stacked layout for square spaces or a horizontal layout for narrow ones, so the logo always fits without being squeezed or distorted.

  • Icon and favicon

A simplified mark for social profile images, app icons and the favicon in browser tabs, where the full logo would be too small to read comfortably.

  • Colour, mono and reversed versions

Full-colour, single-colour black and reversed white versions, so the logo works on photographs, dark backgrounds, embossed stationery and one-colour printing.

  • Vector files for print

Scalable vector files in formats such as AI, EPS, SVG and PDF, which printers and signage makers need to reproduce your logo sharply at any size.

  • Web and social formats

Optimised SVG and PNG files with transparent backgrounds, ready to drop into your website, email signature and social media profiles without further editing.

English and Arabic logo design

Many UAE businesses need their name to work in both English and Arabic. A bilingual logo is not a translation placed beside the original. Both scripts need to feel as though they belong to the same brand and deserve equal care.

  • Deciding whether you need Arabic

It depends on your customers and where the logo appears. Some uses, such as shop signage, may need Arabic under local rules, so check current requirements with the relevant authority or your signage contractor.

  • Matching the two scripts

Arabic and Latin letters have different shapes and proportions. We balance weight, height and character so neither version looks like an afterthought or overpowers the other.

  • Lockups for different spaces

We prepare side-by-side and stacked arrangements of the English and Arabic versions, plus each language on its own, for places where only one script fits or is needed.

  • Native speaker review

Arabic wording, spelling and letterforms should be checked by a native speaker before anything is finalised. We work with you on this so the name reads correctly as well as looking right.

Where your new logo will be used

We design with real applications in mind from the first sketch. Before anything is finalised, we check the logo in the places it will actually live, so there are no surprises when it goes onto your website or a sign.

  • Website and favicon

The logo needs to sit comfortably in a website header on desktop and mobile, and remain recognisable as a tiny favicon in a browser tab. We check both before the design is signed off.

  • Social media profiles

Circular and square profile crops cut off anything near the edges. We make sure the icon version reads clearly inside a circle on Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.

  • Signage

Signs are viewed from a distance and often produced in metal, acrylic or illuminated letters. Simple, well-spaced shapes make the logo easier and cleaner for signage makers to produce.

  • Stationery and documents

Letterheads, invoices, proposals and business cards often show the logo small, sometimes in one colour. We test it at those sizes so fine details do not disappear.

What affects the cost of a logo design

Logo projects vary with the amount of exploration involved and the number of files needed. The main factors that shape a proposal are:

Logo Design: frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what clients usually ask before starting. Ask us if your question is not covered.

Ask a Question

How many logo concepts will I see?

The number of concept directions is agreed in the proposal, based on your brief and budget. We prefer to present a small number of considered options, each shown in real applications, rather than many quick variations. That makes it easier to choose and keeps feedback focused on what matters.

How many revisions are included in logo design?

The number of revision rounds is agreed in the proposal before work begins, so you know exactly what is included. Each round covers consolidated feedback on the chosen direction. If you want to explore further after the agreed rounds, we will discuss it with you openly before doing any additional work.

What logo file formats will I receive?

You receive vector files suitable for print and signage, such as AI, EPS, SVG and PDF, and web-ready SVG and PNG files with transparent backgrounds. These cover the primary logo, secondary versions and icon in full colour, single colour and reversed white. The exact set of files is listed in your proposal.

Can you design an Arabic version of my logo?

Yes. We can design a bilingual logo from the start or create an Arabic version that matches an existing English logo. The two scripts are balanced for weight and character, and we prepare combined and single-language versions. We recommend that the Arabic name is checked by a native speaker before it is finalised.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is the mark itself, with its versions and files. A brand identity is the wider system around it: typography, colour palettes, graphic elements, guidelines and branded stationery that keep everything consistent. If you are launching a new business, a brand identity package gives your team more to work with from day one.

Can you refresh or redraw my existing logo?

Yes. Some logos only need careful redrawing, for example when the original files are lost or the design is hard to reproduce at small sizes. Others benefit from a modest refresh that keeps the recognisable parts and fixes what holds them back. We will look at your current logo and recommend the lighter option where it is enough.

Will I own my logo, and can I register it as a trade mark?

Ownership and usage rights for the final logo are set out in the proposal, so they are clear before work starts. Our designs are original, but we are not a trade mark search service. If you plan to register the logo, ask a trade mark adviser to check availability in the UAE and any other markets you trade in.

How long does a logo design project take?

It depends on the scope, the number of concepts and revision rounds, and how quickly feedback comes back. A bilingual logo, or a project with more research involved, takes longer than a straightforward mark. We confirm the timeline in the proposal once the brief is clear, so you can plan your launch around it.
