Project background
Noorline is a self-initiated concept project, and the brand is fictional. We created it to show how we would approach an online shop for a skincare brand that is made and filled in the UAE and sells mainly through its own website. Brands like this compete with large retailers and well-known imports, so the site has to look credible from the first screen and make buying simple, especially on a phone.
Business objectives
The shop needs to move visitors from the homepage to a product and into the bag quickly, without hiding the information careful buyers look for. It has to explain ingredients in plain language, reassure people with sensitive skin and give first-time customers a way to choose where to start.
Design strategy
The name suggests light, so the palette is luminous: ivory and blush backgrounds with a deep plum for type and actions. Headlines are set in Lora italic, which gives the brand a soft, personal voice, and Inter handles navigation, prices and buttons.
With no product photography available, we designed the packaging in SVG: a plum glass dropper, a frosted pump bottle, a jar and a tube, each with consistent labels and shading. The same drawings carry through the hero, the product grid and the ingredient story, so the range reads as one family. In a live build these would be replaced or joined by real photography shot to match.
The bestsellers grid leads with what shoppers compare: product name, type and size, price and who it suits, with an add to bag button under every product. The ingredients section pairs a botanical line drawing with three key ingredients and a link to a full glossary. Instead of star ratings, which a new brand cannot honestly show yet, the concept uses a routine finder: four short questions that lead to a suggested two or three step routine.
Development approach
We would build the shop on a hosted eCommerce platform such as Shopify, or WooCommerce if the brand needs more control over its back end. Either way, the theme would be built to this design rather than adapted from a template. Products would have structured data, VAT-inclusive prices in AED and variant options for size and refills. Checkout would support the payment methods UAE shoppers expect, including cards, digital wallets and cash on delivery where the brand chooses to offer it.
The product grid is designed for phones first, with two columns, large tap targets and buttons aligned across each row. Images would be served in modern formats at the right size for each screen, and the quiz would work without an account or email address. When the brand has verified customer reviews, they would come from a review platform rather than being written into the page.
What this concept demonstrates
It shows how we would give a young product brand a polished, cohesive shop with a clear path to purchase, honest trust signals and an art direction that can grow with the range.
